Fran and Alastair visited the dealership in August. They mingled with customers, giving them a unique opportunity to answer questions about their sporting achievements.
The Guardian featured Fran in their ‘London 2012: Britain's 50 Best Medal Hopes’ list (26 July 2011, guardian.co.uk). She has recently returned from the 14th FINA World Championships 2011 in Shanghai, where she finished 4th in the 50m Freestyle Final with a time of 24.60secs.
Fran, ranked no. 2 in the world in the 100m freestyle, is a European Swimming Champion, Commonwealth gold medallist and World silver medallist.
Alastair has 39 caps for England, and four for Great Britain, with two major medals to his name - a 2009 Amsterdam European Championship gold and a Champions Trophy silver.
The Blue Bell Group has sponsorship deals with both Fran and Alastair to assist them in meeting their transportation needs for training, competitions and events.
